Memorial High School seniors pledged to “Plant the Promise” of maintaining a healthy and drug free life during Red Ribbon Week.  On October 27, a group of 30 seniors planted red tulip bulbs around the school's main entrance as their pledge to always say no to drugs. Each spring, the red tulips will serve as a reminder to all students about the importance and beauty of a drug free life.  The campaign is part of National Plant the Promise Campaign, which coincides with Red Ribbon Week.

CEMS Veteran's Day program

v

This year, Campbell Elementary and Middle School staff are looking to make our Veterans Day program even more special, further honoring veterans from our community as well as connecting them to our students. We would like to add a slideshow of Veterans from Campbell to our program to be displayed with a musical selection by the Music Department. The slideshow would provide students with an opportunity to see those that served our country from the Campbell community.

If you know of any Veterans from Campbell, or know of anyone that does, and would like to have their picture included in the slideshow, please feel free to send it to Dan Welch at: dwelch@campbell.k12.oh.us or Campbell Elementary & Middle School, c/o Dan Welch, 2002 Community Circle, Campbell, OH 44405 by Wednesday, November 8, 2017. The picture does not have to be of the veteran in their uniform, but please include what service they were in with the photo and any other details, such as what conflicts they may have participated.

Thanks for helping to make our Veteran's Day program even that more special this year!
