Campbell City Schools Welcome Two New Administrators for 2017-2018 School Year

Campbell City Schools is excited to announce the addition of Kristin Fox and Brian Nichols to the Administrative team for the 2017-2018 School Year. Nichols will serve as Assistant Principal at Campbell Memorial High School and Fox will assume the role of Assistant Principal and Special Programs Coordinator for grades 4-7 and assist at the high school.

Nichols is a graduate of The Ohio State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English. He went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Education from John Carroll University and his Principal's License from Ashland University. He began his teaching career at Campbell Memorial High School, where he has been teaching english courses for the past eight years. He also served as the head baseball coach for six years, as well as an assistant football coach and freshmen basketball coach throughout his tenure and worked on the Building and District Leadership Teams.

“I am forever thankful for the Campbell Community taking me in nearly eight years ago and making me feel like one of their own. Campbell is truly a special place that has a family atmosphere and the community has had such a positive impact on not only me professionally, but personally as well,” said Nichols. “I am incredibly honored and excited to continue to work with the students, staff, and the community in this new capacity.”  

A graduate of Youngstown State University, Fox earned her Bachelor of Science in Education in Middle Childhood Education. Upon graduation, she began her career at Eagle Heights Academy where she taught 7th and 8th grade. Her career continued in her hometown, at Struthers Middle School where she taught English Language Arts. Fox continued her education at YSU, earning both her Principal’s License and a Masters in Educational Administration.

In 2013, Fox moved into an administrative role with Mahoning County Educational Service Center. As an instructional supervisor, she worked with administrators and teachers across the valley.

“The experience and knowledge I gained throughout my tenure at MCESC has more than prepared me for this position. I am fortunate to have worked with and learned from such well-rounded educators during my time at MCESC,” said Fox.

Fox continued, “After working in the Campbell City Schools for the past four years as an instructional supervisor through MCESC, I’m beyond excited to be here permanently. The future is very bright in Campbell and I’m thrilled to be part of such a great school district. I look forward to working with the students, staff, and families of Campbell as we continue to strive for excellence. ”
