This years homecoming was highlighted as a very special event. Not only was this the first homecoming of the Millennium but many came to cheer on the winning candidate as she was crowned Homecoming Queen of the 2000 school year. The homecoming was topped off as the candidates and their escorts drove down Sanderson Avenue on there way to Campbell High School. When the candidates arrived they were escorted on the field with their escorts awaiting to see who would win the crown. Although the Red Devils came up short on the win, Miss Shauna Strollo came out on top as she was crowned Homecoming Queen. The following night was captured with a Homecoming Dance where many of the high school students came to "Shake It Fast."
