PURPOSE:  The purpose is to promote a greater interest in the Spanish language and culture.

MEMBERSHIP AND DUES:  Membership will consist of interested students who are currently taking Spanish III and Advance Placement Spanish. There are no dues.

FUND RAISERS:  There will be at least one a year to cover the club expenses.

FIELD TRIPS:  During the 97-98 school year the Spanish club went to the Rain Forest at the Cleveland Zoo. Spanish  I attended a Latin American Spanish Dance and Song Festival performed by the Alejandro Dondines Dancers of the Americas.

COMMUNITY SERVICE:  During the Christmas season the members decorated a Christmas tree with mittens, scarves and hats which were then donated to the Food Bank. They also fulfilled the wishes of 33 children through  the Barbara Wick Transitional Home housed at the YWCA. Both are traditional actives of the Club. Then ever spring the members help with pre-telethon work for the Children's Hospital Miracle Network Telethon.
