       Hello welcome to my personal web page.  My name is Mary Janek, and I am  a teacher at Campbell Memorial High School.  Throughout this page you will find out things you may like to know about my life and career.  If you have any questions you'd liked answered about anything, my Email address and work number have been posted.  Enjoy!

Personal Information:

Education:

Graduated from United Local High School in 1981.

Was an undergraduate student at the University of Akron from 1981 through 1982.

Received a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education degree from Youngstown State University.  Attended YSU from 1982 through 1984.

Received a Master of Science in Education--Master Teacher in Curriculum and Instruction from Youngstown State University. Attended from 1987 through 1989.

I was a post-graduate student of the University of Pacific from 1993-1994, where I completed 30 semester hours.

Teaching:

I have  been teaching at Campbell Memorial since the Fall of 1985.   I currently teach three courses which include:  Advanced Placement Chemistry, Chemistry I, and 8th grade Science. 

Extra-Curricular Activities

I coached Varsity Girl's Volleyball from 1985 through 1993.  I was the Varsity and Junior Varsity cheerleading advisor during the 1997-1998 football season.
