Name: Louisa Miller
History: A former graduate of The Chapin School in New York City. Her extracurricular activities included drama club, and both basketball,and volleyball teams. Mrs. Miller attended Bannard College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree for Spanish. In 1972 Mrs. Miller obtained a Teaching Certificate from Youngstown State University. Then in 1978 she received her Masters of Science in Education in the field of Conseling at Yongstown State. In 1991 Mrs. Miller was awarded the King Juan Carlos Grant. This grant enabled her to do post-graduate work in Spain at the Foundation Ortega y Gassset in conjunction with the University of Minnesota.
Subjects Taught: Mrs. Miller currently has been teaching four levels of Spanish Education at Campbell Memorial High School for over 23 years.
Activities: Mrs. Miller is the current sponsor of CMHS' Spanish club, and since 1987 has coordinated the Safe and Drug Free School Grant which funds PANDA. Also in previous years Mrs. Miller has sponsored Red and Black, Campbell's Drama Club.
Interests: Mrs. Miller's has interests include reading, horseback riding, and gardening. Currently her favorite thing to do in her spare time is dancing. Mrs. Miller enjoys Country Line, Contra, and Swing dancing.
