I attended Campbell Schools from kindergarten
through twelfth grade. Some of you might know me as Michelle Galathris.
I received an Associates degree in Childcare from YSU. After pursuing a career in my field
of study, I soon learned my annual salary was equal to my earnings at Ok foods, the
convenient store I worked at through college. After returning to the convenient store and
several office jobs, I was fortunate enough to get a job with the Campbell City Schools. I
started working in September of 1992. Currently I am the secretary for the school
psychologist in the special services department. Our office deals with special education
as well as bi-lingual students, transportation for students who attend out of district
schools, various grants, and a bunch of other stuff.

My life changed on June 3, 1988 when I married
Chuck Powlysyn. He is also a Campbell graduate from the class of 1971. On June 2, 1990 we
had our daughter, Margo. Margo attends Campbell Schools. She enjoys baseball and dance. I
also have four nephews who I am very fond of: Rob, Matt, Nick, and Michael. My godchild
Alexis is also very special to me.
