Campbell Hall of Fame Inducts Ten New Members

A ceremony and dinner was held in their honor at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish Palermo Center in Campbell. The evening featured Jim Loboy, WYTV Meteorologist, and Anthony Traficanti, Mahoning County Commissioner as guest speakers, as well as a group photo and city proclamations by Mayor William VanSuch.

“We would like to congratulate each new member of the Hall of Fame,” said Matthew Bowen, Campbell City Schools Superintendent. “Our school district is honored to pay tribute to these fine individuals, who have played a large part in making Campbell the great sports community it has become.”

Bowen would also like to thank everyone who attended the induction ceremony. “They were a huge asset in honoring the inductees as the evening celebrated the traditions and talents they represent as part of Campbell City Schools,” said Bowen

Following the ceremony, a celebration parade was held on Friday, October 2 before the evening Campbell home football game against Girard.
