Congratulations to our Campbell Middle School Cheerleaders who won multiple awards oat the Pink Ribbon Cheer Classic yesterday. They took home 1st place for having the best banner , "Rocking the Pink" award for most entertaining routine, and 3rd place over all for the community awareness award. This is the first time the middle school cheerleaders have participated in this event and even though they were nervous being among over 70 squads from all over Ohio and Pennsylvania, they represented Campbell with dignity and pride!
At the annual Homecoming Parade on Friday Oct 4th, the 7th and 8th grade Cheerleaders decided to spread the word about Breast Cancer Awareness.
Ridding on a flatbed decorated in Pink, some girls passed out candy while others walked and passed out self examination pamphlets. For the first time our girls will be attending the annual ZETA Tau Alpha Pink Cheer Classic at YSU on Sunday Oct, 21st. The cheerleaders are also looking for other ways to spread awareness and get donations for the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center. Come out and show your support and honors those who have lost, won and who are still fighting. Research and early detection is the best way to help those who are still fighting.
Remember: Red Devils also wear pink!
