- Before you can start using the Gradebook you first have to
create preps to put your classes into.
- Step One
- Click Setup Options Button

- Click My Options Tab
- The My Option Tab is the default tab

- Because this is a basic setup of the GradeBook we will not be
going over all the different options that can be done with this
program
- Step Four
- Click to set Total Points
- We uncheck any on the other options of weights
- We did not touch any of the Other Setting Options

- Starting to Create Preps. A way to think of preps
is the classes that have all the same type of assignments will go
into a same prep.
- Step Five
- Click the My Preps Tab ( Place to create preps)
- Step Six
- Click ADD Button ( Actually creating a new Prep)

- Step Seven
- Enter Prep Name ( Can be descriptive)

- Click Select Classes Button ( You do this to put your
classes into the that prep
- NO one Class can go into TWO different Preps

- Step Nine
- Click on the check box to the left of the class name to insert
that class into that prep. You can insert as many classes
into same prep
- If the class already has a check box than that means that
class is already in another prep.

- Step Ten
- Click OK Button when finished

- For reason of simplicity we will only use one Category
- Step 11 TYPE the word General in the Prep Category area

- Prep Assignment types are predefined list that our school
district made up if you would like different prep types in the list
get in touch with Mrs. Bakos.
- Click Add Button

- Click on any assessment types you will be using for the classes
in this prep. You can have as many as you want.
- You can come back to this screen to add or delete assessment
types.
- Step 13
- Click all of the boxes that you wish

- Step 14
- Click OK Button (Once you check all the assessments you
will need)

- Edit Prep
- Click on Prep to Highlight
- Click Detail Button
- Add Prep
- Click Add Button
- Start the directions over again
- Delete Prep
- You first have to COMPLETELY empty out the contents of that
prep by clicking on the prep you want to delete to highlight
then click the Detail Button
