How is Moniques and Sevrine’s friendship affected by the Nazi invasion?
Monique and Sevrine’s friendship is affected by the Nazi invasion because Sevrine is Jewish and they have to keep it a secret. According to the text Sevrine says, “It puts you in great danger to know about me.” Another example is, “My parents were afraid that the Nazis would kill us.” The author stated that, “We are being hunted by the Nazis, you know. We are Jews. There are many of us hiding all over France.” This evidence shows how their friendship is affected by the Nazi invasion.
