Dear Campbell Families,
I am a career educator, working over 20 years in both Ohio and North Carolina. I began my career as a language arts teacher in Southington at Chalker High School. After three years, I moved to North Carolina and taught high school English and journalism at Jacksonson High School and Eugene Ashley High School. While teaching, I worked on my Masters Degree in School administration and Curriculum Design. My Bachelor's Degree is from Youngstown State University. My Masters Degree is from East Carolina University.
My administrative career began at Roland-Grise Middle School as an assistant principal. I then received my first principalship at Topsail Middle School, earning Principal of the Year in 2012. Due to personal reasons, I returned to Ohio and became the principal of Campbell Elementary and Middle School. Although I have been at multiple schools in multiple districts, CEMS has truly been a fantastic place to be during my educational journey.
I am married to my wife Amy and we have two fantastic kids: Brennen and Campbell. No, this is not a typo, my daughter has the same name as the District. We enjoy traveling, animals (horses), and are partial to the sport of lacrosse.
