My name is Mrs. Beth Liszka and I am an Intervention Specialist for Campbell City Schools. My first year in Campbell was in 2002, as we opened the doors to the new Campbell Elementary/Middle School. Before coming to Campbell, I spent a number of years in Youngstown City School teaching regular and special education.
In my personal life, I graduated from Geneva College, Beaver Falls, PA, with a Bachelor of Arts in French. Not long after that, I pursued my coursework in regular education and finally special education. In 1990, I married Ted Liszka, a Campbell alumnus and a Campbell Hall of Fame recipient for both football and basketball. Ted and I have a wonderful son, John, who is in the Youngstown State School of Nursing. We have two Border Collies, Cali and Zena, who are actually sisters but one year apart. I love to vacation, especially on the beach or the sidewalks of New York City.
Other than my family, the love of my life is teaching. I can't imagine doing anything else. There is never a dull moment and the challenge is a constant reminder of why I became a teacher.
It's a pleasure to be here in Campbell.
