Are just SHARED FOLDERS that are located on the FILESERVER.  By sharing a folder on the server, all computers that logon to the sever can see those folders.  Therefore, the folders are not computers specific but user specific which means that you will able to access those folders on any computer that you logon too.

Home is where you and only you have permission to store information.  Your "MY DOCUMENTS" and "FAVORITES" folders are located here.
