CMHS Bowlers Qualify For District Tournament Districts bowling

Congratulations to Junior Chloe McCrone and Senior Joey Broz.

Both bowlers qualified for the OHSAA Division 2 Districts Tournament on February 16th & 17th in Avon Lake Ohio.

Good luck this weekend to both bowlers.

7th Grade Boys - AAC Blue Tier Champs 7th Grade AAC Champs

A HUGE Congratulations to Coach McCray and our seventh grade boys basketball team who won the AAC Blue Tier championship tonight!!! We are extremely proud of them for a great season!!

Collaborative Project Fick - Basista

Today’s students from Mr. Fick’s class visited Mrs. Basista and her students at Memorial High School to work on a collaborative project.

3 Point Record Broken Kevin Moore

Congratulations! Kevin Moore, Sophomore, has broken the single game 3-point record at Memorial High School. Last night Kevin was successful on 10 3-point shots, breaking the previous record of 9. Kevin finished the game with 37 points. Congratulations KEVIN MOORE!

Mr. Kay's Class uses VEX Robotics Mr Kay's Class - VEX

Great work by our engineering class students today! They used our VEX Robotics to code a drag race robot to travel 20 feet. Mr. Kay lead his students in the competition to see which robot could travel in the fastest amount of time!

Mrs. Lowery's Anatomy Class Mrs. Lowery's Anatomy Class

Over the past few weeks, students in Mrs. Lowery's Anatomy Class took part in their fi became biomedical engineers. Throughout this unit, they designed and created their own prosthetic lower legs! After, the students tested the prototypes by bending a knee and resting it on the prosthesis. Their goal was to provide all the important features that a good prosthetic needs. Upon completion, the students connected the prostheses to their own bodies to test them.

Mr. Yeager and Mr. Nichols were the "celebrity" evaluators of this project. Those both thoroughly enjoyed the students engaged in Project Based Learning activities.

Congratulations to our Lady Red Devils for a great win over Heartland Christian 50-43. A special congrats to our seniors, India Armour-Clark, Ana Denas, Leila Kamal, and Vivian Kelly for their dedication to our program throughout their high school career. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors!!


The following classified position is available for the 2019-2020 school year:


  • Work as substitute van driver during CDL and bus driver training; receive compensation for bus driver training
  • Current BCI and FBI background checks
  • Satisfactory results of pre-employment drug screening as well as ongoing random drug/alcohol screenings
  • Also accepting applications from individuals with a current CDL with Bus Endorsement and current Bus Driver Training Certificate from State of Ohio

Salary per negotiated agreement.

Momentum Award 2019 Momentum Award 2019

Campbell City Schools, as well as Campbell Elementary and Middle School, were recognized by the state of Ohio with the Momentum Award.
Matthew Bowen, Superintendent comments, "The students have embraced the opportunities to excel with the increased engaging lessons with high expectations of the staff. We are very proud of our students, staff, and community. The work of a teacher is often without recognition, and for this reason, we could not be more pleased with the deserving award the state has afforded the Campbell community to celebrate."

The YSU Explore Program is currently seeking applications of students interested in joining their after school program which operates Monday- Thursday from 2:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. at Campbell Memorial High School.
