I am an Intervention Specialist in the Campbell City School District, Campbell , Ohio. I grew up in Campbell with my parents and grandparents and graduated from Memorial High School in 1995. I currently reside in Poland, Ohio with my husband John (also a Campbell graduate), my daughter Gianna and two sons, John Jr. and Vincent.
I obtained a Bachelors Degree in Special Education K-12 from Youngstown State University, where I specialized in servicing children with both Cognitive and Multiple Disabilities. I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Education in 2000. I began working for Campbell City Schools in 2001, after a 1 year permanent sub position at Chaney High School. In 2005, I received my Masters Degree in Elementary Reading and Literacy from Walden University. I have mainly taught at the Middle School level working with students that have Multiple Disabilities and Cognitive Disabilities. I taught 1 year at the High School level as a Language Arts Intervention/Inclusion teacher. This upcoming school year, I will begin my 13 year here in Campbell. I will be teaching at the Elementary level for the first time, within the 3-5 grade band and with students who have Cognitive Disabilities.
