Campbell City Schools would like to invite public comment on the use of American Rescue Plan (ARP) IDEA funds.  We seek public input at our next Board of Education Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 16, 2021 in the Conference Room at the Community Literacy Workforce and Cultural Center (CLWCC) at 6:00 PM.

These ARP funds are provided to state educational agencies to help recover from the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and to safely reopen and sustain safe operations in schools.

The IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) Part B formula grants assist schools in providing a free appropriate public education in the least restrictive environment for children with disabilities ages 3-21.

Campbell Students Progress Despite the Pandemic Ohio Report Card

The 2020-2021 school year was incredibly challenging and disruptive due to the pandemic we all faced. Therefore, there are no official state ratings, but data is available to help guide future practice and determine the best possible delivery of student instruction.
Ohio’s Report Card component, Improving At Risk K-3 Readers, looks at how successful schools are at improving reading for at-risk K-3 students. Despite the pandemic, Campbell City Schools saw an increase in this measure as we moved a number of off-track students to on-track.

Coach King & Seniors Show Their Appreciation VFootball Appreciatioin

As the football season comes to an end quickly. Coach King and the seniors wanted to show their appreciation to the great staff we have here at Campbell Memorial High School. To do that, each senior gave their away jersey to a staff member that has influenced their lives over the past four years. The teachers wore the seniors' jerseys today during school and encouraged them to come to the game wearing or displaying the jersey as well for Senior Night.

Coach Andrew King mentioned, "Though I have only been around for a short period of time. Our students, staff, and alumni have nothing but amazing things to say about each and every one of you. So, thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping our football players through the good and the bad. This is truly an amazing place and it starts with all of you."
