7th Grade

The Campbell City School District works diligently to serve students and families providing high-quality programs that improve teaching and learning.  The Board of Education, administration, and the teachers are always looking forward to enhance all PK-12 curricula and programs. The 2019-2020 school year will be an exciting year for the Campbell Community.  The IMPACT Academy will embark on its inaugural year in STEM education and the Community Literacy Workforce and Cultural Center (CLWCC) will open in early 2020.

In order to best serve our students and community, the 2019-2020 school year will be the first year the 7th grade students will receive their education at Campbell Memorial High School.  Although this may be a big change for our incoming 7th grade students, we are excited to bring our middle grade levels (7th & 8th graders) together. This will allow the district to properly align curriculum and extracurricular activities productively and efficiently.

Campbell Memorial High School will now serve students in grades 7th-12th.  All 7th and 8th grade students will still and will always be provided a true “middle school experience”.  Although 7th-8th grade students and 9th-12th grade students will be grouped separately, the teachers will now have more time to collaborate and align curriculum more effectively.

Students who are enrolled in the Northeast Ohio Impact Academy will receive instruction in the newly renovated wing closest to the new facility on Route 616.  ALL students will continue to participate in extracurricular activities with their grade level peers regardless of which location and educational pathway chosen.

Student orientation will be held on August 14th at Campbell Memorial High School.  Orientation for students entering 7th & 8th grade will be at 11:00 AM. Orientation for students in grades 9th-12th will be at 1:30 P.M..  We ask that students only report to their grade level orientation. Student schedules and busing information will be distributed during orientation.

Although change is not always the easiest for all, we are excited about the new opportunities for our Campbell Community.  We look forward to another great year in the Campbell City School District.
