On May 11th – 14th, students will have the opportunity to walk across the stage to receive their diploma from a member of the Campbell City Schools’ Board of Education. We understand the importance of this special moment and you will be permitted to have up to four (4) immediate family members (there will be no exceptions for more than 4) witness this moment. Each student will receive a picture of himself or herself receiving his or her diploma. Pictures/videos taken will be placed on a video for the virtual commencement. All speeches and traditional commencement announcements will be pre-recorded on the stage for the virtual presentation.
Students and family members (up to 4) who will participate need to coordinate a time that is best for all and schedule a time. In order to ensure that we practice social distancing, students will sign up for specific times to eliminate any gatherings at the high school. These time slots will be emailed to each senior from Mr. Yeager with a link (SignUp.com). It is important that each student signs up for their family. No walk-ins will be accepted, only those students at their scheduled times will be permitted to enter the building.
The virtual commencement will be made available for our graduates and their families to view. On May 28th, at 6:00 PM the class of 2020 will participate in a procession through the community celebrating our graduates. In case there may be in-climate weather on May 28th, we will set a contingency date of Saturday, May 30th at 11 AM. Additional details regarding the procession will be finalized and communicated at a later date. This will not be a parade and all families are asked to stay home, as the procession will pass by our graduates’ residences. We would like to thank our City of Campbell official for supporting our seniors with a community procession.
