Jack Maillis is a business owner, industry leader, and proud native of Campbell, Ohio. A 1990 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School, he has built his career on hard work, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Jack began his professional journey in 1992 as a union painter, where he developed the discipline, craftsmanship, and strong work ethic that would become the foundation of his success. Drawing on that experience, he co-founded A1 Industrial Maintenance in 2001, establishing a foothold in the industrial services industry.

In 2011, following the end of a long-standing business partnership, Jack launched A1 Industrial Painting, continuing to grow his vision independently. He later co-founded A1 Industrial Resources, a pipeline-focused company where he currently serves as co-owner and strategic planner.

Under his leadership, A1 Industrial Painting and A1 Industrial Resources have expanded to employ more than 100 men and women, creating meaningful career opportunities and supporting families across the region.

In 2017, Jack earned NACE Level 3 Peer Review certification—the highest level of accreditation in his field—reflecting his expertise and dedication to professional excellence.

Beyond his business accomplishments, Jack remains deeply committed to giving back to his community. He has supported numerous charitable initiatives benefiting Campbell City Schools and the City of Campbell.

Above all, Jack is a devoted husband to his wife, Melanie Rohan Maillis, a fellow Campbell Memorial High School graduate, and a proud father to their sons, John and Daniel. While he takes great pride in his professional achievements, his greatest accomplishment is the life and values he has built with his family.

The Campbell Memorial Alumni Association, the Campbell City Schools, and the city of Campbell at large, would be remiss to not take this opportunity to publicly acknowledge the extraordinary acts of altruism and generous contributions of Mr. Jack Maillis. Mr. Maillis has been a man of integrity and compassion, working diligently "behind the scenes" to provide for the youth and the underprivileged of our city. He has established numerous scholarships, honoring the memory of Campbell's late citizens who may otherwise have gone unnoticed while simultaneously providing our seniors much needed financial assistance to aid in the pursuit of their career goals. Furthermore, he and his family have provided holiday meals, Christmas parties for the underprivileged, internships for those interested in the trades, clothing and help with household bills for those in need; and, most impressively, he was instrumental in implementing a pre-apprenticeship program for students at the Northeast Ohio Impact Academy. These are just a few of the many altruistic contributions of Mr. Maillis.

We can never actually acknowledge all of his purely unselfish acts, because he does not announce his assistance.  He does not seek praise or reciprocation. He is just a truly humble man who wants to help those who cannot help themselves.

Most adults command children to " Do as I say!". Jack Maillis encourages us to "Do what I do."-- for what he does is extraordinary!
Thank you, Mr. Maillis, for providing our students, and all of Campbell's citizens, with an exemplary role model to emulate.
You are the epitome of Campbell pride!!!
