The Campbell City School District is proud to announce the hiring of David Porch as the new Varsity Head Football Coach, effective for the 2025-2026 football season.
Coach Porch has made a significant impact in the Mahoning County community on and off the field. Through his job at the Mahoning Juvenile Court, he has been able to help the youth of Mahoning County. He has been there for 8 years, working with young men on setting goals and achieving them. He has also worked with several schools in Mahoning County in various coaching capacities and has seen great success in the programs he facilitates. This experience has been rewarding, and Coach Porch is eager to bring that same dedication to the Campbell Memorial Varsity Football program. His commitment to helping young people set and achieve their goals is commendable, and his ability to make a difference is clearly reflected in his work with local schools. We believe that by combining his professional and coaching experiences with his expertise in goal-setting, mentorship, and a deep commitment to the youth of our community, Coach Porch will be instrumental in guiding young athletes toward both athletic and personal success.
Coach Porch stated, “I’ve had the privilege of coaching at several schools, where I gained invaluable experience and insights that I’m eager to bring to the Red Devils Football Program. The lessons I've learned from previous teams, coaches, and mentors will serve as the backbone of how I approach building and developing this team. My goal is to create a competitive and structured environment where student-athletes can thrive both on and off the field. Those who know me can attest to my commitment and the quality of work I bring to everything I do. With the unwavering support of my family, friends, and the Campbell community, I am excited and ready to get to work and lead this program on the pathways to success.”
We are excited to welcome Coach Porch to the Campbell City School District family and look forward to the future success of our football program under his guidance.
