Teaching Writing Revolution
Superintendent Matthew Bowen is proud to announce that Campbell Memorial High School’s TWR (Teaching Writing Revolution) team has been invited to represent high schools statewide at the Ohio Deans Compact Annual Conference, scheduled for February 25-27, 2025, at the OCLC in Dublin, Ohio.
The TWR team will participate in a panel discussion alongside Athens City Schools, the elementary school representative. This prestigious opportunity allows Memorial High School to share its initiative to improve writing across all content areas and highlight how the Hochman Method has guided their efforts to enhance literacy outcomes.
“This is a significant recognition of the outstanding work happening at Memorial High School. It’s a testament to our educators' commitment to improving literacy and preparing our students for success,” said Superintendent Bowen.
In addition to presenting, the team will attend sessions to explore current topics affecting education, hear from keynote speakers, and network with leaders from the P-20 continuum. These experiences will provide resources and strategies to further strengthen literacy initiatives in Campbell City Schools.
The District looks forward to sharing insights gained from this conference to continue delivering innovative and impactful education for its students.
