Student Wellness & Success Fund Plan

At the heart of our approach is an unwavering commitment to identifying and dismantling barriers that hinder student, adult and family success. The district's culture has evolved to embrace the mantra of "I can, we can, they can..." This shift signifies a departure from merely focusing on high school graduation; instead, it propels all staff and students towards personalized goals that extend beyond high school, emphasizing college and career aspirations.

Like many educational institutions in Ohio, we recognize the value of forging partnerships to maximize our impact on students and the community. Addressing the holistic needs of both the child and the family is a collaborative effort involving public and private partners deeply engaged within the school district and the wider community. A prime example of this collaboration is the Community Literacy Workforce and Cultural Center (CLWCC), which represents an ecosystem of committed public and private partners dedicated to bolstering student support, strengthening the workforce, and fostering regional economic growth. The region has demonstrated remarkable momentum, and the collaborating partners take immense pride in being a part of this inspiring journey.

With numerous public-private partners deeply involved in this initiative, students and families gain authentic experiences related to college and career readiness, health and wellness, food, clothing, and comprehensive counseling services that cater to the holistic well-being of the whole child and their family. Furthermore, our collaboration with current and expanding health partners allows us to address immediate needs and offer additional career counseling to meet the demands of various job sectors.

This holistic ecosystem of services not only provides diverse learning experiences but also addresses fundamental needs within homes throughout the region. The comprehensive public-private partnership, with its shared services approach, ensures that both students and adults have access to the necessary opportunities and resources for achieving college and career readiness. The CLWCC project spans all facets of STEM education, including the Arts, Medical, Manufacturing, and Entrepreneurship, with the potential to extend the STEM ecosystem's impact beyond this region and across the state.
